… and meanwhile, eHarmony still has no iPhone version and doesn’t work on mobile phones… or fully on Safari or Google Chrome.
But I digress. Today’s news’s takeaway is from a press release from Match.com: (WARNING: Buzzword Overload Incoming)
“Singlesnet has built a heavily trafficked site with an active and dedicated community of users. While Singlesnet’s traffic is currently in decline, we believe that by applying our category expertise we can reverse that trend, increase the site’s profitability and improve the overall user experience. This is more of a value acquisition than a strategic one, and Singlesnet will predominantly be run as a standalone business. Nonetheless, the addition of the site’s considerable traffic to our existing aggregation of traffic in this single category should open new monetization opportunities for Match.com’s collective portfolio of domestic online dating brands.” –Greg Blatt, CEO of Match.com
As I’m writing this, NO ONE in the SinglesNet Forums cares. Go figure this out.

Everybody, this is just for today. I don’t think there’s an occasion and I don’t think eHarmony has done this thing before.
Glad I found this blog, Just wanted to alert women out there that I met/encountered a real “Ted Bundy” thru E-Harmony. Worked for the Fed Gov’t, took me to his office, out for dinners, movies, helped do fix up jobs at my house, called & texted everyday, easy to talk with, romantic – but found out his “live in” female roommate was more than just a housemate. All he wanted was “you know what” – I learned a valuable lesson, my mistake, don’t be as trusting, and definetly wait to give any guy, “you know what” – the good/nice ones will wait.
Maybe not Ted Bundy, but definitely not someone who is serious about finding a long-term relationship. Here is another guy who passed muster. So much for screening out for serious people who are looking for something long term. …
“I wait with baited breath, though, to hear back from Fashion Man and any other ‘perfect matches’ who, you never know, could turn out to be, well, perfect. After all, I’ve paid an extortionate amount of money in advance. I’m too tight to give up now.” — Valentine Taylor of soFeminine, UK.
Around 43051 marriages (and counting) were matched through eHarmony since March 2, 2005. Around 1337 members married today. - Harris Interactive (Caveat)
