To the question “Why is body type not included in my match’s profile?”, eHarmony claims that displaying a match’s weight leads to inaccurate assumptions about a person’s bone structure, metabolisms and so forth.
This explanation is non-sequitur and broken, because body type and weight are two different things.

Trivia: Did you know that, in eHarmony’s initial design and its first 20 months of existence, photos were only available when matches reach the Open Communication stage? The photo sharing settings were introduced in their June 2002 newsletter, per popular request.
