Can’t log in, requested a new password, never got an email

Well today i created my profile in eHarmony and soon after i received a welcome email on my email address. But after some time when i tried to log back in it said invalid email address.I tried clicking on forgot password which asked me for my email address. I entered my email address and it said that password retrieving info has been mailed to u but i never received any mail from them. I tried it several times but failed. Now the question is if am entering a wrong email address then how is it that i received a welcome email on the the same email address. So one thing’s clear it’s not my fault. I am unable to find any possible reasoning to this problem. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me. It would be greatly appreciated.

How to Find a Soul Mate in EHarmony

Kathyrn Gierok distills success to four steps:

  1. Be honest about your self: your self-description and what a relationship means to you.
  2. Carefully consider the matches that you are sent via eHarmony.
  3. Be proactive. Initiate. Ask him about himself. Ask her out.
  4. Don’t give up. With enough practice, you’ll get the hang of online dating.

eHarmony will not let me change my credit card number

Hello all…I’m trying to change my CC on file but every time I try it give an error that states “Your plan does not allow you to change your credit card using our website. For immediate assistance please call toll free: 1-800-951-2023.” I have a 3 month plan for $14.95 and I’m on my second month. I’m trying to add a new CC without calling them. Any help would be greatly appreciated

How do I archive matches that aren’t communicating?

Is there any way to archive matches that aren’t communicating so they don’t clutter up my communicating tab? I don’t want to close them in case they become active (I’m assuming they are inactive accounts.)

I would like to date some nice women from this service but feel like I have trouble connecting with them

Thanks for all the great eharmony info. I found a lot of helpful things here.

I have a question. I get lots of matches, which is great, but I am not sure how to best contact ones I like. I have been emailing people messages saying

“I think your profile is great. You look cool…… so do you want to grab coffee sometime? Or do ?”

I feel like the eharmony questions and stuff is silly. I will know in 30mins over coffee if someone is a good ‘match’ why should I waste both our time with childish questions from drop boxes?

I agree with snowbunny. The blanket greeting (without mentioning anything personal about the woman) is a turn-off. If you change your wording how snowbunny pointed out, you're guaranteed to get better responses. Good luck to ya'! :) …

Answering “What are you most passionate about?”, by Kate

eH Advice Host Kate(Our favorite eHarmony Host Kate today shares tips on answering what we think is THE most important question of the eHarmony profile. After the photo, it is the first thing your matches see.)

If you’ve ever been an eHarmony member, you know this question, it’s the first thing you fill out on your profile, and the first thing your matches see (besides your 12 photos…and you have all 12 posted, of course!).

Some people answer this question with clichés like “life, friends, and family” because they can’t think of anything else to say. Others feel disappointed when they receive matches who have cliché answers posted here.
