Way back in the day of the “hold ” feature, you could nudge a match again. They got rid of “hold”, changed things around on us and this trick went away.
However, it looks like I have found a way to send a second nudge with the recent changes of the archived tab. I haven’t seen anyone else mention this (I stumbled upon it while clearing out matches from last year in my communicating tab).
Here is what you do:
- Close the match (that you have communicated with, have nudged and who has not yet closed you)
- Immediately reopen the match from the closed tab
- It appears as if you can then nudge them again (it is of course, highly unlikely that they will respond if they are that “dead”)

We’re going to find out.
To those who are annoyed at the barrage of eHarmony TV commercials and who wonder how many people fall for them, we’re going to tell you. February is known as the busiest month for eHarmony, and February 11 to 15, 2010, a five-day “free communication weekend” event, is predictably their busiest weekend of the year. It’s easy to track how many user accounts were created during the five days.

The answer is without doubt, and is consistent all year, whether during a Free Communication Weekend or not:

The day of the week that eHarmony gets tons and tons of traffic is Monday, followed by Sunday or Tuesday. Monday night, we think, is the best time to expect a quick reply to your messages to matches.
The worst days of the week to use eHarmony is Friday and Saturday.
