eHarmony launches a new Match Setting feature this morning, 9 August 2006, called “Match Flexibility.” It said,
Would you be willing to relocate if you found the right person? Yes Maybe No
Would you be willing to be matched with someone who is willing to relocate for the right person? Yes Maybe No
How important are the following match criteria to you?
Importance settings help us to further refine your search to allow you to receive as many matches as possible.
While we always deliver matches that meet your strictest settings first, from time to time a match meeting all of your additional Match Selection criteria may not be available. Based on your importance settings, we may expand your search temporarily by relaxing only the specific settings which you indicate are not very important to you.
Keep in mind that all of the matches you receive while using eHarmony have been carefully selected to be deeply compatible with you. As always, you are free to revisit and change these importance settings selections at any time.
How important is your match’s distance from you?
How important is your match’s religion to you?
How important is your match’s religious denomination to you?
How important is your match’s ethnicity to you?
How important is your match’s education to you?
How important is your match’s income to you?
How important is your match’s height to you?
How important is the amount that your match smokes to you?
How important is the amount that your match drinks to you?
Quite interesting! This is of course similar to Section 4 of the test, called “Important Qualities”:
How important are the following to you?
