The “next step” in online dating: screening your matches based on what they look like seems to be around the corner with Eyealike.com and their facial recognition technology. The basic concept is that it looks at faces in the match database to find a face similar to faces/facial features you find pleasing/attractive (which I presume one selects/picks).

I guess if paired with the 29 dimensions of personality, it could pare one’s search down quite a bit. It would probably be helpful if eH’s matching database was much larger than it currently is (i.e. if nearly everyone used eH and everyone had more matches than they knew what to do with).
What do you folks think? Good, bad or need to see the technology in action to determine if it would be helpful?
