Job Opening: Relationship writers for eHarmony Advice

I found this yesterday:

eHarmony, the online matching service, has a content and community site called eHarmony Advice. It is located at advice.eharmony.com

We’re looking for writers to participate in a project designed to generate 50-60 articles of approximately 400 words in length for a rate of $.10 a word.

The topics will be distributed and work will need to be completed in early Q3.

If you’re interested please contact, Grant Langston – Sr. Director, Content at glangston@eharmony.com (bio)

So each article like “Navigating the One Night Stand” makes the author around $40, eh?

Anyway, please pass the word around. The advice site needs more talent. Hey, do you think I qualify?

Speaking of job openings…

… they also need a Production Editor to supervise and coordinate the above crew.

… it seems they’re also looking for somebody to take the job of Stan Holt. They posted the job ad the day Holt posted the primordial retraction. Hmmm.

6 July 2008 Update

An applicant for this position started receiving spam. “… And when a multi-million dollar corporation pays its writers .10 a word, I can hardly say that I’m dejected!” Lisa said.

After each article is published on the website, the authors will make themselves available for discussions with eHarmony clients and other readers—and their articles will also be included in eHarmony’s email newsletters, which are said to reach 4.5 million readers a week.
