Instead of looking for dates, Canadians should be busy shopping and enjoying the strength of their currency. Another thing they should be doing is registering the eHarmony.com and not eHarmony.ca. $59.85 USD is only $57.53 CAD right now, and the Canadian dollar is growing stronger and stronger.
The eHarmony site is tricky though. If you chose Canada as your country on the eHarmony home page during registration, you’d be taken to the Canadian site, permanently, where the fee is $59.85 CAD.
Canadians, why pay more?
Here’s a trick to outwit the website. During the test, choose a different country, like Pitcairn Island (population: 50 people). Then after the test, go to your Match Settings page and immigrate back to the Great White North.
“Welcome back to Canada, eh,” says this guy on the right.
If you do this, your eHarmony is always the dot-com. When paying, you pay greenback. Experts predict that, when you renew after a few months, greenbacks are worth further less.
This announcement is not brought to you by eHarmony.
