Poll 14: Have you ever taken a match out of hold?

eHarmony’s “Put on Hold” feature is a curious thing. It shuts out communication from your match, but lets you reopen it later as desired. It sends no email notice to the match.

The hold reason, “You have not responded to my communication in a timely manner,” essentially says, “You aren’t responding, so here CLICK!, you won’t be able to respond anymore!”

But the most curious thing about the “Put on Hold” feature is that, according to some people, no one reopens them. Is this true? With this month’s poll, we are going to find out.

How long after you finished the test did you pay up?

I’ve never been patient enough to keep someone on hold – I’ve always closed ‘em. I’ve sometimes tried reopening them during dry spells, none have led to dates.

But, I don’t have a lot of numbers here.
