Comcast Internet Dating “powered by eHarmony”

Yesterday, mph2005 of the DailyKos is immensely disturbed to report that Comcast and eHarmony have teamed up. When you register on eHarmony by way of a link from Comcast, each of your eHarmony pages would have a Comcast banner:

Comcast.net Dating powered by eHarmony

I think it’s great that eHarmony opens its site architecture to partners like these. It makes me curious what companies can apply…

    I am on Comcast and this change started this past summer. The dating advice at Comcast switched from being “powered by Match.com” to being “powered by eHarmony.” I think eHarmony is straying a bit from dating and relationship advice by telling me what music to listen to and what food to eat, and how to work out. I can get that–and better sources mind you–elsewhere. They should stick to what they know instead of trying to be all things to all people of all ages. Match.com, on the other hand, does a good job of catering to all types of people.
