From the La Cañada Valley Sun, May 17, 2007:
Gigi and Jim Schlueter are among a growing number of online romance success stories. At their wedding 18 months ago, Jim’s son toasted the newlyweds by saying they’re the first pair he’s known who share 29 matching personality points. Gigi and Jim were introduced through eHarmony, an Internet dating service.
“I liked the structured style of eHarmony; matching ages and personality are important to me,” said Gigi. Both she and Jim have careers in the health care field. Gigi believes their interest in health care played a role in the matching process.
Jim grew up in South Dakota, completing his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of South Dakota. He married and brought up his family in Connecticut, where he was the chief operating officer of a major medical center in New Haven.
Gigi is a nurse practitioner. Most of her career was spent nearby at Huntington Hospital in neurological rehabilitation. She also worked at UCLA on a stroke research project.
Jim set up a website for her company, Alluria Skin Care (www.alluriaskincare.com). Read complete news article
