Lauren Gilbert tried to meet men the old-fashioned way, she really did.“I had gone on so many first dates,” she said. “Just meeting people through friends, but they just weren’t clicking.”
So the Calgary 26-year-old turned to eHarmony. The site, which this month launched its Canada-specific eHarmony.ca, uses patented Compatibility Matching System. Dubbed relationship-building site over a dating one, it was founded by clinical psychologist Dr. Neil Clark Warren.
“Some people say that their first year of marriage is so difficult, and adjusting, and things like that, but ours has been great,” says Gilbert. We’re so similar.”
It turns out eHarmony accurately predicted the couple would see eye-to-eye on everything from loading the dishwasher to how to handle their money. — Ann Marie McQueen, Sun Media Corporation (Edmonton Sun)
