6 matches a day – that’s the limit!

(Updated)

I’m a crazy trigger-happy “Find New Matches” addict. I click that link more than I check my email. I made the link my browser home page. (ok that’s not true, but I almost did.) You know what, there is a limit to one’s matches per day. Customer service won’t say it, so I will. Doggone, I feel ripped off.

All you can get is five six matches per day.

According to their press releases, ten to fifteen thousand people register in eHarmony every bloody day. But the system sends me a maximum of SIX MATCHES no matter what my Match Settings are. That’s crazy.

Fifteen thousand bloody idiots and I get six. I want more idiots in my “My Matches” page, please. How can one build a harem?

I know I’m peeping at an older post, but has this number changed for you? I usually receive 7 matches a day (once I received 8, but it hasn’t happened since) — and the first guy I got to OC with said that he would regularly receive 9 to 10 matches a day. We both live in one of the top populated cities in the US so I wonder if that makes a difference? Interesting to compare though!

I used to only get 7 matches a day but now it’s up to 10! Must be living in Denver and nobody wants to be alone for the holidays.

I got eleven in one day but that was because I had matching turned off the previous three days.

I’m getting 7 matches a day on a fairly regular basis. I’ll be posting a new graph when I’m two months out.

Yea… all the good matches have a life… just look at me, 12PM and I’m typing to a Blog. Really I think the golden 29 points of compatibility are selected to weed out the must haves, they know who you are and they only feed you enought to keep you interested.
Too many and you might just find the right one and not need them. What would that do to the bottom line???

Hello EHB, thank you for writing regarding my missing password issue… I appreciate your assistance!

No, I have not yet received an email with a password, but I did receive your message at the aol account I used to register. So, I’m definitely in the system, but I don’t have my password as of yet.

I tried the “lost your password” link and put in my username (Sincerelyethical) but again, no email/password from the blog. I checked my spam folder as well, and it wasn’t there either…

I’d love to be able to contribute, but for now, the only way I seem to be able to enter is through a saved link to an interesting blog article.

Is there any way to find out my password? Anyone in admin who I can contact?

    Thank you kindly,
    Sarah
