As before in Australia and the United Kingdom site versions, registrants can give a Brazil address first then migrate later to their original country. It has been two years since they opened a country site.
Registrants cannot buy subscriptions yet, so Brazil pricing is still unknown at this point.

eHarmony and eDarling use normative instruments to assess variables (normative Big5 test to assess personality).
If you are from U.S, Canada, U.K. or Australia and you use eHarmony Brazil your assessment will be distorted, your variables will underscore or overscore.

Here an example to illustrate better this case.
Suppose you are citizen of country “A” where speed limit is 70mph and the population drives at
65 mph average with 2mph standard deviation in a normal distribution, (some persons always surpass the speed limit)
and you drive at 67 mph so you are OVER the average in 1 standard deviation, you are at 84.1344% over the whole population.
You will score 8 or 9 in a sten scale depending on how it was constructed. You will be seen as VERY HIGH in that scale.
If you drive in country “B” where speed limit is 75mph and the population drives at
71 mph average with 2mph standard deviation in a normal distribution,
and you drive at 67 mph so you are UNDER the average in 2 standard deviation, you are at 02.2751% under the whole population.
You will score 1 in a sten scale. You will be seen as VERY LOW in that scale.

Although ParPerfeito, one of the biggest competitors in Brazil, is in decadence since January 2009 and DivinoAmor, for religious persons, has no traffic; eHarmony Brazil can not take off.
It was launched more than 2 months ago and it offers a 3 months free membership, but it cannot get the traction it deserves.

eHarmony Brazil, a 3 months old site, can not take off, slowly dying. The summer will begin soon here in South America (also in Australia).
Tourists need somewhere to stay in Buenos Aires for numerous special reasons.
