Couple: Jeff and Irma Graf

Jeff and Irma Graf“When we met, it was amazing, I had given up,” Jeff said. “My (eHarmony) membership was expiring, and hers had expired. She had to sign up again to get my phone number.”

Jeff is a burley ex-cop; a New Yorker; a sworn, tried-and-true Yankees fan who was living in South Florida. Irma is a petite woman with a big smile, born in Mexico City but was living in Las Vegas, NV. They now together run a T-shirt business called “G’s Tees” in 621 N. Bullard St, Silver City, New Mexico. Nothing but nothing is more powerful as a marketing tool for the internet dating industry than the positive testimonials of people who have met on idating services. eHarmony has been good about capturing testimonials and featuring them. But many of their testimonials are dated, at this stage.

Christiancafe, Match and Plentyoffish have also been pretty good about capturing their success stories.

(Full Disclosure: Plentyoffish is a former client of my consultancy, Courtland Brooks)
