From eHarmony’s 1 June 06 press release:
During the production of a new TV commercial for eHarmony’s “Endless Love” – campaign which began airing on May 16th – Nate Marriner delighted girl friend Angela Stizza by dropping to his knees to ask for her hand in marriage as cameras recorded the moment.
The wonderfully happy and candid moment is featured in the new commercial, along with Angela’s “yes.” Before the shooting started, Nate contacted eHarmony to tell them he had something very special in mind. Working together with eHarmony, Nate arranged to surprise Angela on the set. The couple will be married later this year.
“We were delighted when we heard Nate’s plan,” said Dr. Neil Clark Warren, eHarmony’s founder. “Our goal is to help couples capture the joy and wonder of a great relationship, and we were thrilled to be able to help Nate and Angela take this important step together. We are fortunate to be able to share some of Nate and Angela’s joy with people across the country.”
“It means so much to all of us when everything clicks,” said Warren. “Everyone at eHarmony wishes Nate and Angela the very, very best.”
Nate Marriner, 27 and Angela, 27, are from Apex, NC. Nate is associate pastor of Grace Church in Apex. Here’s one of their wedding photos:
