Opinion please: eHarmony costs $10-$15 a month nowadays; are serial FCW participants just cheapskates?

Yes

  • “Cheapskates who rush the process in two or three days, that’s what they are.”
  • “Those not ready to spend money are not ready to take the process seriously.”
  • “The FCW is for people to try the site out. Serial FCW participants abuse it.”
  • “‘I’m not a member, pls email pics’ people are a nuisance.”
  • “If I’ll date just anybody, then I would be in a free dating site instead.”
  • “Does the other person get a free dinner too?”
  • “This ain’t a good start of an equitable relationship.”

No

  • “Hey dinner’s on me / I make it up to you later. ;)
  • “If we are interested in each other, who the hell cares if one ain’t paid up?”
  • “Give me an responding FCWer 10 miles away any day, than a subscriber 100 miles away.”
  • “Meeting compatible people is the goal. Agreeing if EH is worth their fees is a quibble.”
  • “The sort of matches I’m getting lately ain’t worth paying up.”
  • “The volume of responses I’m getting outside FCWs ain’t worth paying up.”
  • “I think paying to find love is objectionable, to say the least.”

Has eHarmony lowered their prices? It used to be $30 a month. Either way, it’s overpriced because the site is a waste of time AND money.
