Q&A: Does eHarmony limit the number of matches I will receive?

Answer:

eHarmony’s VP International Sean Cornwell told SmartCompany.com.au that eHarmony Australia is “very deliberate feeding people between five and a maximum of seven compatible matches every day.”

We offer our word that it’s the same for all eHarmony sites. One month will only produce up to 217 matches, even in super-densely-populated Hoboken, New Jersey.

On the other hand, above all factors, your age, gender and geography (the 3 Gs) ultimately determine how many matches you will ever receive. See our Match Settings page for tips to get more matches.

“we are very deliberate feeding people between five and a maximum of seven compatible matches every day. And that’s very deliberate so that people just take a little more time to actually take a look at their match, knowing that each one of the matches that we offer them on a pure kind of personality and on a psychological level they are highly compatible with them. ”

please read as eHarmony is a 10 years old obsolete site whose compatibility matching method performs as an out of control machine gun firing flowers.

Moreover, it is not a joke because it is the confirmation – explicit proof that
eHarmony is in the range of 3 or 4 persons highly compatible per 1,000 persons screened, so in a 10,000,000 persons database, one person will see 30,000 to 40,000 persons as highly compatible, in exactly the same range as …. searching by your own!!!

The success rate of eHarmony is less than 10%. The majority, over 90% of its members are not going to achieve a long term relationship with commitment (or marriage) using eHarmony.

It seemed that Sean Cornwell did not understand that saying: “we are very deliberate feeding people between five and a maximum of seven compatible matches every day.” was like a clam burying himself with his own tongue.

@fernando, your writing albeit often hard to decipher, does contain some gems. (I even read your blog.)

But, to be honest, the only thing I have read from you are all the problems various dating/personals sites have/do, etc.

It would be nice if you could actually give some solutions sometimes – and I am not talking about ditching Big5 or 16PF5, etc. I mean solution that someone looking for a permanent relationship can use.

What good is explaining how other cooks are ruining the food, when I am dying in hunger?
