Canadians furious at eHarmony “Free but not free” Communication Event

Being asked payment to get to the last stage of communication, after spending hours signing up and creating a profile, whereas they widely advertise that they’re free, “absolutely no cost”, all week?

eharmony.ca Free Communication Weekend

Yes, eHarmony is a joke and a bunch of lying scumbags. Now you know.

I can not believe they did that to Canadian members. They trade not being able to finalize communication with a match for a few extra days? Not much of a sample of the product if you can’t see photos or openly communicate with a match.

I hesitate to say it but MAYBE they could get away with such a ruse…IF…and this is a BIG IF…they disclosed that well ahead of time to all users logging in as well as new users filling out the profile during the promotional time period AND they would HAVE to let you see photos. I can only imagine the disappointment and phone calls to customer support of all the folks that are swayed into subscribing who were denied the opportunity to have a conversation with a match AND not see what they look like…

Shame on you, eHarmony. Keep up stuff like this and just like any empire, you too will fall to a new challenger. You think you are too big to fail? Never forget that history repeats itself…

I heard on the radio that the free event was going on, so I decided to try.. I took the time to fill out all the questionnaires, uploaded pics, and everything… only THEN to find out that you have to PAY to view photos and truly communicate. Its not “free communication” if its through their forced guided communication… and how is it fair that my matches can now see my pics, and I cant see theirs? What a sham. eHarmony Get Real
