Is the FoD quote, “If you build it, they will come”, not applicable at all to Online Dating sites? Is it all about the marketing budget? SinglesNet and Yahoo! Personals were practically “let go” one or two years ago — that’s why they fell off the map and thus were sold as bargains. I wonder why these two sites stopped promoting themselves.
By the way, this blog is lucky. Although, sure, the China plan and the IPO plan are on hold, EH has no plans to merge with anyone or to get sold. EH will be around for a long while.
