Site Issues: Could not login to eHarmony?

Technical difficulty Please standby

Hi Everyone,

Earlier today we had an issue with our domain name service that affected some peoples’ ability to use the site. Our tech team is aware of it and working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes and will let you know as soon as the issue is fully resolved.

Best regards,

Attention eHarmony Subscribers, the current site failure and service interruption is an EXCELLENT reason to request subscription extensions.

Contact them when you get the chance. The easiest is via http://help-singles.eharmony.com/ , which works because eHarmony subcontracted their help system and incident tracking to a different company.

  1. I’m having issues connecting to eharmony at all. I’ve tried Safari and Firefox both for Mac, and I’m getting “Error: Page cannot be displayed. Please contact service provider for more details. (6)” That digit changes on refresh. I’ve deleted my cookies in Safari and restarted the browser, no success.

This is what I consider a serious outage. I hope it comes back up soon, not that I’m so anxious to look at my matches, but this kind of outage in the middle of the day leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I will take my money elsewhere if it continues.

  3. I called eharmony and they have a general message saying “some of” us cannot access the website and their engineers are working hard to fix the problem.

From what I am getting on the web, “some” does not cover it. It seems a lot of us are not able to access their website.

  9. It isn’t your computer, it is the site. The only way I have been able to successfully log in is via my cell phone using the browser in it.

  12. Is anyone else having problems signing into Eharmony – I have been locked out for a couple of days now since August 20, 2010… There seems to be no way to contact Eharmony – have tried sending them 2 messages in the referral area (seems to be the only place you can communicate?) Any help would be appreciated – enjoy the site – but find it very frustrating… Hopefully someone from Eharmony will read this post?
