Tips and Tricks: How to unsubscribe to eHarmony emails

[CORRECTION: The information below applies to "promotional" messages. To stop the Match Notification messages, give eHarmony a fake email address. I do hope you turn off Matching first.]

To stop receiving email messages from eHarmony, the official link to unsubscribe is this:

http://www.eharmony.com/singles/servlet/user/aboutme/emailpreferences?email=«email-address»

For your convenience, I made this link into a HTML form:

(Note on privacy: this form points directly to eHarmony.com and is subject to their privacy policy. eHarmony Blog will not see your submission.)

If eHarmony cannot find the email address among its members, the eH home page appears.

The weird thing I discovered about this is: this form and unsubscribing to eHarmony doesn’t require one’s password. Furthermore, you can even use this form to check whether a given email address is registered with eHarmony. And, yes, you can unsubscribe them. Go try this and see if your coworkers or neighbours took the eharmony test. Weird, eh?

I met a great guy on e-harmony. The of us went online and cancelled out subsription. It has been 4 months and He is still getting texted on his cell phone about women & such.
And these texts come in somewhere between
midnight and 6 am. This does not make for a great relationship. When someone cancels everything to do with E-Harmony should stop.

I would guess that those are new match notifications. He needs to go back into his account and turn off matching or change the e-mail address associated with his account. Canceling your subscription deals with the monetary aspect, not the matching aspect. They are two separate things. Asking to totally remove your account would cancel everything, which you probably didn’t do.

Your email is never published, shown nor shared.

Your message appears after two to five seconds for the world to see. In case it isn’t obvious, we are not eHarmony. Your message will not be sent to them, and no, we cannot help you with your account.
