How to tell who are inactive members (The Complete List)

Inactive members…

  • answered exactly five About Me questions:
    1. What are you most passionate about?
    2. What are the THREE things for which you are MOST thankful?
    3. Other than your parents, who has been the most influential person in your life and why?
    4. What are three of your BEST life-skills?
    5. The four things your friends say about you are:
  • have no photos.
  • have no RelyID. (Having RelyID means they once joined.)
  • have no Premium Personality Profile badge.
  • never move up in your My Matches list when you “sort by Recent Activity”.
  • never switch from “Introduction” to “1 2 3 4 OPEN” when you’re doing the “Let them view you first” trick.
  • never show up in your “Who Has Viewed Me” list, even after you sent communication.
  • never show up in your “Match Updates” list.
  • never respond to communication or close the match.
  • have their email address hidden in their profile.
  • have profiles that tell you to contact them in Facebook.

How long should I wait for them to join?

According to our reader poll, 56% of respondents subscribed either immediately or within one week after they finished the questionnaire. 70% of respondents subscribed within a month after the questionnaire. Therefore, waiting a month for a reply already covers 70% of new registrants.

It is ridiculous to have to try to decipher who is and who is not an active member. Having to pay and still having to guess this elementary detail is a terrible combination.

How about if eharmony just TELLS US who is active and who is not? Isn’t that the ethical thing to do? Oh, I forgot… that wouldn’t be good for business, now would it… Since the ratio is very low, this information could negatively impact subscription numbers so they keep this basic detail hush hush… Any company who cares about its members would provide at least the basics of information.

Clearly, profits are much more important than member satisfaction at eHarmony.

Unethical service providers in every industry tend to promote features about their service which they are proud of, while hiding information which they are not proud of.

It is fair to say that eHarmony doesn’t seem too proud of its low ratio of subscribers to registered members. They prefer to keep us all in the dark. They simply rely upon their warm, fuzzy, and cheesy commercials to pull the wool over our eyes… Some ethical business practices would be appreciated.

There’s no doubt that eHarmony only cares about profiting. Their service is expensive compared to other dating sites but I guess that’s not enough to them because they still have ads on their website! To me that’s just being greedy… they are already getting paid by their members so there should be no need for ads. I’m totally fine with ads on websites that are free because that’s mainly their only source of revenue but eHarmony… Give me a break!

What get me is they let these free loaders get on their site and other who have paid get bumped, dumped whatever without due process. Toward the end when I was aboard there were men who they match me up with who never looked at my profile. I guess those were free loaders. I probably will get on another date site, but I am apprehensive, I have eHarmony to thank for that. Anyway I am definitely reading their TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
