Customer Service hours shortened; Compatible Partners free memberships end

eHarmony Customer Service hours were reduced from 24 hours a day to 20 earlier this week. Phone agents are now only available from 4am to 12am Pacific time. Customer Care became 24 hours a day in 2007, thanks to Scott Ackerman. Email support is still round the clock, but you can’t expect an instantaneous reply there, can you?

In other news, the last freebie Compatible Partners subscription ended December 15. Between March 31 to June 15, eHarmony gave each Compatible Partners registrant a free six-month subscription. The last of those subscriptions ended yesterday.

I joined up to compatible partners for the heck of it- really just looking for some friends to hang with, go biking, power-walking, beach, coffee, movies, etc…First of all- most of the “get to know you” questions relate to couples/relationships- NOT platonic r/l…I had exactly ONE possible match- during a trial phase. When I listed a deal-breaker as “not wanting someone “excessively obese” (their term)- I never heard back. Sorry, but I’m kind of an outdoors/exercise person…

Now, got another “possible” friend on the line- and it won’t let me contact with their stupid “send them 5 questions”. I guess the trial is over? I sure as h*ll am not forking out $$ just to find out there’s four people within 200km who have no interest in sharing my interests? What a joke. They need to have a quick peek at pinksofa.com. At least they let you go back & forth in the forums- then if someone looks a possibility (after reading their profile & posts) you can send a “hi” or “wink”. If you both thought…hmm…then you could join when they run their next coupon code deal. Oh well- guess it’s back to lesbotronic for me.
