The other less-known online matchmaking sites: 2ofakind, Mary.com, Nomorefrogs, RewardingLove, SantaMatch

eHarmony, PerfectMatch and Chemistry.com spend millions of dollars in advertising, so their memberships have reached critical mass. There are several ‘fill out a questionnaire before we send you matches’ dating sites that don’t, and haven’t. Here are some, in alphabetical order, and free of affiliate links, of course — because most of them have no affiliate marketing program anyway.

  • 2ofakind – 50 questions in an “introductory letter” form will be both your profile and used for likeness matching.
  • Mary.com also uses the Big Five (FFM) model
  • MatchStation – yet to launch
  • Nomorefrogs UK began in 1999 but shut down earlier this year and promises a better version 2.
  • RewardingLove – Dr. Robert Gordon’s site began this summer and uses the pay-per-match model
  • SantaMatch – created by ex-eHarmony users, read their blog

Five of these sites have fewer monthly visitors and less site traffic than us. :-(

In case it isn’t obvious, this blog is not connected with any of these sites in any way. You can’t believe what lawyers come up with these days.

Know any of them? Did we miss anyone you know? EHB welcomes reviews from fans and critics alike.
