This canned 1st question has four options:
A: uses poor grammar
B: tends to cling to you in social situations
C: is not familiar with current events
D: superstitious
I call this question the “Say your dealbreaker” question. Every single one of us has a “dealbreaker” — a quality or trait we abhor or “cannot be with.” For example, I cannot imagine marrying someone who is 100kg (220 lbs) overweight.
If one of these four is one of your dealbreakers, then this is your chance to put it upfront, e.g., (“a, b and c”). If your dealbreakers are something else, then you have a choice: say it and be done with it:
I’m bothered by people who are 200 lbs overweight.
or don’t:
None. I like my partner quirky.
