Déjà vu? (or, why don’t my comments appear on my friend’s computer?)

In order to keep our hosting costs low and the site very fast for everybody, our articles are now stored “static” on the server for a few hours. Only readers who have signed in or have left comments or have voted will be able to read articles “uncached” and thus see the up-to-the-minute articles and commentary. To answer your question: Have your friend vote anonymously on any of our polls and your comments will appear on her computer right away.

The feeds, the polls and the WEIRR feature are unaffected.

We are very sorry about this; According to the July bill from our web host, proper hosting for the present size of eHarmony Blog’s readership costs more than a monthly eHarmony subscription, an amount the blog cannot afford. We regret any confusion.

By the way, as an announcement to those who have just tuned in, next weekend is a Free Communication Weekend for eHarmony US, Australia, UK and Compatible Partners. And possibly also Canada.
