According to the Online Dating Industry Journal dated 8 August 2009, eHarmony discontinues its $90-per-sale commission with LinkConnector and switches to a per-lead structure with a gender/age bias
| Age Group | MALE | FEMALE |
| Age Invalid (0-17) | $ – | $ – |
| Age 18-24 | $ – | $ 2.40 |
| Age 25-30 | $ 2.40 | $ 5.60 |
| Age 31-35 | $ 4.80 | $ 7.20 |
| Age Over 35 | $ 8.80 | $ 8.80 |
| No Age Given | $ – | $ – |
Though this big payout difference will drive LinkConnector affiliate sites away from promoting eHarmony there, eHarmony will be able to focus its registrations on specific age groups.

The change takes effect on August 2009.
