Quite atypical for this blog to have this poll. If this poll is on its own I will have thought that EHB is an official site. I like it.

The matching I feel has gone worse as of late, and this poll is an indication. Are there still people out there feeling kinship among their matches, overall?

My main draw to EH was that kinship. When I reviewed my first sets of matches, long ago, I sensed that I would get along great with each or any of them. Do people still feel this way with their matches?

Or has EH become a person dispenser – the precision is gone?

Lastly, the current top answer (closing communication any time, permanently) exists on all dating sites, so I disagree calling it a feature or even an innovation.

Re: “Best Features” option #7 above, I’m an eHarmony subscriber. (Full disclosure – I also write for http://www.bestonlinedatinghelp.com. We provide “intro message” material, plus a library of entertaining answers to the stock questions, all of it free.) Question: Does anyone know why users ARE allowed to see the 5 questions BEFORE they decide whether to respond, but they are NOT allowed to read the “intro message” prior to deciding. In other words, they must “accept” (or reject) the fast track invitation “in the blind”, without being able to read the email first. But why? I mean if they let you see the questions (that have been sent to you) then why won’t they allow see the email (that has been sent to you)?

I have asked eHarmony about this repeatedly (by phone and email) and I’ve always gotten a response …. but never an answer. Can anyone shed some light on the subject?
