In three months, I failed to receive my promised matches. In fact there was actually no correspondence from e-harmony for two of the three months, not even a newsletter. When I called, I got all kinds of excuses about my profile wasn’t filled out right. Apparently I selected that I was a Christian and I was told that it was the reason that it was eliminating my matches, it was recommended that I not check it off. LIE! then? When I questioned this, I was accused of just wanting to argue and fight. I never got a straight answer as to why I was never sent any matches. I asked why did they advertise that they had several thousands who had signed up and not one match? I was again accused of just wanting to fight. So I was told to redo my profile and that would help. I did, and simply selected garbage. I just went down the list and coloured dots, I did not even read the questions.
Lo and behold, after about a week, and my subscription was about up, I was getting on average two to three names per day. I live in Toronto and I am even getting matches from the States. I didn’t know how I was going to connect? These matches keep coming, of course, I cannot see them, because my membership has long expired, but they keep on coming. What I’d like to know is what happened to their guarantee that if they did not find me at least three matches then my membership was going to be extended until they did? I’ve written several times to e-harmony telling them that I was no longer interested and would never be again but still the matches (from the States even) keep coming trying to entice me back. Good luck with that!
Have you noticed on the commercials that out of the millions that they have connected, it’s always the same couples?
