Kidding aside, well, we are flattered by this gesture. Our blog is a mosquito compared to a giant and yet, the company chose a different name and not ours. We remain “eHarmony Blog” or “EHB” and their blog is “Open Communication”, “Official eHarmony Blog”, etc. There is room for unofficial, unauthorized information, here, and room for official, public-relations information, there. Thanks, eHarmony, we appreciate this.

(We’re not holding our breath though for the comments we’ve posted there getting published. Understandably, UEHB commentary ain’t kosher in the OEHB.)

Trivia: According to Dave Evan, Jim Safka, the CEO of Match.com from 2004 to 2006, maintained a “Match.com CEO Blog” for a period in 2006. Dave says, “Jim hardly ever posted to it, but there was enough openness that it seemed like he was writing it, not the PR department.” Waldorf writing a blog would be really cool.
