eHarmony Blog Stats - 8/13/2006 - 9/12/2006

Our Top three most popular search phrases (last 31 days)

  • “how would you spend a romantic evening with someone you have been dating for more than one year”?
  • “if i had a bad day, what is the first thing you would do for me?”
  • describe your spirituality

Of special mention is our post “5 reasons why the 12-month eHarmony subscription is a bad idea” which appears in search engine results pages frequently for keywords related to subscribing to the service. Did we dampen the sales of eHarmony or its affiliates? We’ll never know. We think annual subscriptions are rare in eHarmony anyway.

Top three content
Content Uniq. Views Pageviews Avg Time % Exit
/eharmony/ 340 534 115.59 37.83
/eharmony/102 137 231 80.20 23.38
/eharmony/88 93 138 135.57 33.33

The top referrer is, of course, Google, even though we’re still not the first result for our site’s name. Though we’re top result for our name in many other search engines, no one really searches us there. Traffic has been mainly from the canned questions — apparently eHarmony members are sending each other questions so tough it sends people looking for answers on the web.

Thanks everyone for visiting!
