Match settings page updated – Google map

Another one got snuck in under the radar.  eHarmony changed the match settings page.  I think that the integrated Google map is a nice touch for the match distance selection.

The Likert-like scale radio buttons are gone in favor of the slider for the other attributes.  From what I recall of the earlier version, this is much friendlier to navigate, with it being all in one module/page-load.  I’m not sure this needed to be “fixed” when considering all the other things that need fixing but it is a welcome improvement.

I tried this out recently, and as someone who lives in the sample area shown in this post, I was able to tweak my zip to best correlate to my distance preferences without having a large part of my circle over the ocean. Excellent!

    I love this! Good job.

The map also helps when tweaking one’s zip away from state and country borders.
