8 new sets of codes for May 2009

April 2009 codes

What are noticeable about this month’s codes?

  • Never in our experience has eHarmony US “released” 1-month-free subscription codes. Sign of the times? Let’s see if they work.
  • eHarmony UK is obviously giving the UK members a stimulus package. Again, sign of the times?
  • $9.95-per-month codes that came out last February, e.g., EXP96US1 and SUB96US1, more than three months ago, still work. This month’s version of the promo codes page is the longest ever, with over 70 codes to try out.
  • The company has read the Patterns in the eHarmony promotional codes article and has changed the pattern. (Oh, they read the article often!) After all that, jeez, the codes still have a pattern. Readers, would one of you like to write an updated “Patterns” article?

    On the other hand, it validates the reality of the service, that it is not for the short haul, as I posted.

    I’m almost willing to bet that they could make the service completely free and you still will get the same response rate from matches…

    What free month code? We know of no free month code. :)

    There is no reason to talk to customer service about what you see on here. Just use the code and be happy.

    They will take notice once the website has enough hits for them to affect their $200M revenue. The bad debt/account and fraud is normally at 5%. The impact of the promo codes page is very far from $10M annually.
