For 6 seconds, eHarmony presents an interracial couple in its ad

For no more than 6 seconds, eHarmony gained enough of its senses to put a black woman/white man couple in one of its ubiquitous ads. Yay!

(Google found nothing on Traci and Jeremy, though, and the ad showed no wedding date or engagement date, so I’m allowed to be skeptical.)

Update, 27 March 2009

Traci and Jeremy got married on 11 August 2007, as per their full commercial below:

I saw this commercial for the first time today. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this beautiful couple. There should be more of these couples on tv because it is 2009 and people are thinking outside the box and dating people outside of their ethnicities. **Notice I did not say race, because we belong to the human race :)

This is not the first time a white man married to a black lady. The one of most famous and the first of its kind (involving a white man with a black woman) was Elizabeth Key (a African-European woman) with William Grinstead (a white man).
