From a guy’s perspective, here is what I would be looking for in a response.

1. That you at least have some vision for the future and realistic, but big, dreams (even if life changes and they don’t happen).

2. I’m not looking for something so specific and planned out that tells me you are more interested in your life goal than you would be in me.

3. I’m looking for a clue as to who your are rather than what you do.

That said, we guys realize that this really is a hard question, so don’t freak out about it too much.
