February 13-16: eHarmony’s Fourteenth Free Communication Weekend

I saw an advertisement flash by out of the corner of my eye as I was surfing a website (I swear I saw an ad for it a few days ago).  Hopefully this is sufficient confirmation that FCW14 will be on next week.  Hopefully our readers are going to get a whole week head’s up.  Turn on matching, get ready to nudge, blah-blah-blah.

Valentines Day weekend?  I guess they are hoping to capitalize on if you are lonely and have no one to spend it with…

I’m glad I turned matching back on earlier than usual. They are only trickling in at 5 a day despite having had it off for 5 weeks.

Matches are really only trickling in. Queue prior discussion about the matching algorithm being changed to only match with “active” members. Fewer matches means that it is actually working?

Perhaps they aren’t advertising this as well as hoped. When do we expect the TV spot to air?

Hey, I FastTracked a couple matches who are non-members and one sent me an icebreaker but I don’t think non-members can accept or reject FastTrack messages (which include my e-mail) even during this Free Communication weekend. So I think we’re stuck. I’ve tried inserting my e-mail addressinto my profile but eHarmony is deleting it within 30 minutes each time I put it up. Any advice?
