eHarmony Blog temporarily welcomes US court orders

We switched hosts yesterday, and we are temporarily hosted somewhere in Orlando, Florida. This will be our interim home until we find another host that is outside the US and the UK, which is where eHarmony has bases of operations.

We apologize for the inconvenience while your browser is presently “seeing double”; shortly your DNS will point pinoy.ca to the new host.

This means, for now, this blog’s hosting provider is glad to receive any US court order to release any private information stored in this blog.

The access logs from the previous host weren’t moved though.

Yeah I know it sucks. Let’s hope I find a host soon and we can move outta here. Any leads would be great.

By the way, we published our 800th post three days ago. The last Free Communication Weekend (1 – 5 January 2009) brought in 6,500 site visitors, the highest we’ve seen.

UPDATE: eHarmony Blog is proud to be based in Maasdjik, a town an hour away from Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

When sending EHB a Cease and Desist letter, please be aware that the Netherlands are not under United States federal and state laws. Sorry, sometimes one has to say the obvious.
