1-800 Toll-free Phone Number to contact eHarmony Customer Service

Yes there’s a toll-free telephone number and eHarmony doesn’t want you to know it. The numbers are nowhere in their website. eHarmony accepts calls from customers from eHarmony US, eHarmony Canada, eHarmony Australia, eHarmony UK and Compatible Partners.

They are open every day between 4am and 12am PST. Be ready to wait though.

Of course, these are North American toll-free numbers. You can reach the company from overseas by dialing 011 1 626 795 4814.

If you’ve got a question on using eHarmony, the answer could be right here in the blog. Try our search box.

Seeking a refund? You will want to read our off-the-record “How to get a refund” primer before calling.

UPDATE: These numbers are also for the Compatible Partners website.

Thank you for giving the numbers. I’ve been looking for this information quite a while. But it surely take a long time for them to pick up my phone.

Just a suggestion as an add on to the account. I just cancelled my subscription today after just one day so I suppose I’m lucky but the cancellation process was extremely fast. I understand I’m just one of the lucky ones but this is exactly what and how my situation went.

    The why:
The day after I signed up for my subscription I went on a date with a long time friend of mine not expecting much out of it. I’m normally very reserved when dating friends because I know of the high risk of ending what once was an amazing platonic relationship. However after giving it a shot I was stunned to find out how many reserved feelings I actually had for this girl! After the date I found myself almost unable to sleep because I had been thinking about possible reasons I had not asked her out previously. Needless to say, after this chance encounter I did not need eHarmony any more.

    The how:
I called early on a Friday morning. I am actually writing this just five minutes after the call ended so it was at about 10:00am cst. The wait time was only about 5min or so, I’m guessing this was because of calling at a time when most normal folk (those who work days) are actually at work. As soon as the phone was answered and my account was pulled up, I was simply honest and straight forward with my intentions and reasons.
Me: “I’d like to cancel my account and receive a refund please.”
Rep: “Well I’d be happy to help with that, but may I ask why you are cancelling after just one day of service?”
Me: “The day I signed up for my account I went on a date with an old friend and as a show of good faith to her and our relationship and in an earnest attempt to make this work I’m wanting to delete my profile.”
Rep: “Well I’m happy to hear that you found someone, so congratulations and I hope it works out. I’d be happy to process this for you. Your account will be credited with….blah, blah, blah”

And that was it! Done and out in under 10min, I was stunned but it happened. I hope everyone else can find something in this that might help them out and is successful in whichever direction that they take!

I’ve moved and have a new location- from the one I had when I originally signed up- but I guess since it isn’t a required field, I can change my billing info but not my location as it appears on my profile. HOW do I do that?? I finally got their 800# (from you-thanks!). I will never sign up with eH again- terrible customer service!

I just called and it was as easy as can be. So here’s how it went:
Me: Hi, I would like to close my account. Also, I didn’t realize I’d be charged a renewal fee and was wondering if I could get a refund?
Rep: May I ask why you want to close the account?
Me: Actually, I met someone so I won’t be needing the services anymore.
Rep: Did you meet him on eHarmony?
    Me: Yes, I did.
Rep: Congratulations! Here’s what I can do. I can keep your services on and issue you a 50% refund.
Me: That’s fine. Money is not really the issue, I just really didn’t want to pay for something I won’t be using.
Rep: Okay, here’s what I’ll do. I’ll go ahead and give you the full refund and close the account.

THAT WAS EASY! All of it was true, but still very easy.

The phone number does no good if you aren’t a member! My wife passed away last fall and I thought e Harmony would be a good way to get back into the dating scene. After spend several hours painstakingly filling out the survey, I finally got to the page where I was to join. After deciding on which plan I wanted, I put in my credit card information and pushed the next page button. Although I had selected a plan that was to cost around $290 (I can’t recall the exact amount) the next page asked me to confirm a charge to my credit card of nearly $350. I tried to use the back button on the browser to return to the previous page to no avail. After several minutes of my not doing anything and trying to figure out what to do next, suddenly I was taken automatically to the next page where I was congratulated for becoming a member of e Harmony. When I got my “congratulatory” e-mail from E Harmony, I replied to it and stated my story just as I explained it here. I further told them that I HADN’T JOINED e-Harmony, I wasn’t a member, I wasn’t bound by its arbitration procedures and any charges to my credit card would be met with legal action on my part. Although I’ve received tons of e-mail from them with potential mates, I’ve received nothing regarding my situation. To date they still haven’t charged my credit card. All they had to do was deliver their service at the posted price to gain a customer. If they have no intention of servicing the needs of potential customers, how in the world can they be trusted to serve the needs of their customers. Good grief, what a way to run a business.

I urge eharmony to remove all their advertising from the Clear Channel stations. Rush Limbaugh needs to be sent a message that he can’t talk about women and insult women like he did. Whether you’re on his particular show or not.
