“What is your idea of the perfect date?” is among the first questions, not second.

This is not important to me. I can cook, shop, keep house, maintain cars, manage finance and I’m handy around the house. Would you be comfortable talking on the phone with me? I can give you my phone number if you want.

I always ask this. For me, it’s “what are you looking for in a match,” only without getting the usual lines. You can tell alot about what someone looks for someone in people they let close to them by the people that are close to them.
