That I once shot a man, just to watch him die. Wait, no. That wasn’t me.

My best friends, and also several other people, know that I am likely try to respond to the logical difficulty of being asked to tell total strangers something only my best friends know with humor.

It is not that hard to come up with something unique to you that you can feel comfortable putting on your profile. I think folks tend to think this demands some sort of confession of a deep dark or embarrassing secret when it does not…

#2 usually almost always means that they have left the rest of the profile blank, which is even worse than #1.

Anything even remotely creative that is not #1 or #2 makes me a happy camper when reading a profile.

Mine is mysterious in nature and offers some insight into things that you wouldn’t typically associate with me, given what is written in the rest of my profile. The way it is phrased serves as a hook to intrigue a potential match and direct them to ask questions (and has worked as such in more than a few match conversations).

“I play with matches” or “Me gusta queso”.

The sillier the better.

I love profiles with outandish answers to this question, and I tend to close out the ones with generic answers unless the rest of their profile is outstanding.
